Laser Hair Removal After Care

*Do NOT take a shower in the next 24hours. Applying materials which may cause allergies, going to swimming or sauna, injecting Botox, and so on are forbidden.

*In order to improve the inflammation and burnt signs, apply Cicalfate Medellin, Avene, Alpha, Burnagol ointment, or Seagull Acacia dealbata ointment.

*To relieve the itching, you can take Hydroxyzine or Cetirizine once a night. If you are feeling no improvement, contact Exir Javani or ask for an appointment with the specialist.

*Avoid sunbathing or solarium before the lase sessions or in between the settled treatment sessions. Cover the treatment area with cloths, hat, gloves, and clear sunscreen to avoid sun exposure. In order to avoid getting dark spots, cover the treated area with clear sunscreen to keep them away from sun exposure.

*The number of the laser treatment sessions and the extent of the results vary according to the person’s skin tone and the thickness of their hair. All of the laser sessions are set for every 4 – 6 weeks based on the doctor and operator’s approval. If your hair growth stopped before finishing the set sessions, remember to continue with the remaining sessions only if they have grown almost 30%. If necessary, the next sessions are set for every 2 – 4 months and eventually every 6 months or once or twice a year. It is necessary to know that regular treatment sessions will lead to a decrease in hair growth up to 60 – 90 percent. Remember that the goal of laser hair removal is to make the thick hair turn into dramatically thinner strands of hair during a timely period of time.
